E-Advantage
  • UCSI University has an on-line e-mail account which you will need to register for your classes, and to keep track of your schedule, etc.
  • You need to attend a short training session to learn how to open and use your E-Advantage Account
  • Training is held Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays at the North Wing of UCSI CompuTech (3rd floor) at 5.00pm. Alternatively, you may attend this training at 2:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the ISC. Although the training session is a must, you have a choice of venues.

Campus Tour
  • A daily campus tour of the South Wing is held every day after the morning briefing, around 11:15am.

Opening a Bank Account
  • You will need to open a bank account in Malaysia
  • There are many banks close to both the North Wing and South Wing. Most banks would require the following documents:
    • Your UCSI University Letter of Offer
    • Your Original VAL or certified true copy (available at the IO)
    • Original Passport
    • Cash to open your account (this varies from bank to bank - you will need approximately MYR 250.00)
  • Please note that if you are below 18years old, you will likely need a letter from your parent or guardian permitting you to open an account.

Currency Exchange
  • If you need to exchange your home country currency into local currency (Malaysian Ringgit or "MYR") you may do so at a currency exchange booth
  • There is one located at the Leisure Mall, near the North Wing
  • There is another one located in the Shopping Centre by the "Giant" food store near the South Wing
  • For security purposes, currency exchange services may also be arranged to come to the IO, if needed. Please speak to one of the ISC staff to arrange this service.
