Marketing is about meeting and satisfying the needs and wants of customers, which will directly assist to increase an organisation’s profitability. Students will learn about the fundamental principles of this discipline, as well as go in depth into marketing processes, consumer behaviour, brand management and business communication. By the end of this programme, students will have the skills and knowledge necessary to build a successful career in this exciting and dynamic field.
Qualifications Academic Requirements
STPM Min 2 principals with pass in Mathematics and English Language at SPM level
A-Levels Min 2 principals (E)
UEC Grade B in minimum 5 subjects including Mathematics and English Language
International Baccalaureate (IB) Min score of 26/42 from 6 subjects.
South Australian Cert of Education (SAM), Australia Min average of 60% in 5 subjects
Tertiary Entrance Examinations (TEE), Australia Min average of 60% in 5 subjects
New South Wales: Higher School Cert (Yr 12), Australia Min average of 60% in 5 subjects
Northern Territory Cert of Education (NTCE) (Yr 12), Australia Min average of 60% in 5 subjects
Western Australia Cert of Education (WACE) (Yr 12), Australia Min average of 60% in 5 subjects
High School Certificate Min average of 60%
High / Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12) / Canadian Grade 12 – nama mengikut wilayah di Canada Min average of 60% in 6 subjects

English Requirements
For local student:
  • At least MUET Band 2 or IELTS Band 5.5 or TOEFL 550 (A compulsory requirement from MQA)
  • A distinction (A+, A, or A-) in the English Language subject at SPM/UEC level. If the English Language requirement is not met, student may be required to take an additional English module(s) prior to or concurrently with the undergraduate program based on the University’s decision.
For international student:
  • At least IELTS Band 5.5 or TOEFL 550 or its equivalent (A compulsory requirement from MQA)
  • International students holding equivalent academic qualifications but which are not conducted in English are required to sit for the English Placement Test, which may result in the taking of the English Enrichment Programme (1 to 10 months). Students, who intend to pursue the above undergraduate programme directly, are advised to fulfil the above English requirements prior to commencing their studies at the University.
Note / Legend Discretion is given to the Head of School to deal with applicants who have results borderline to the Academic Requirements.
