The Master of Science in Healthy Aging, Medical Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine is the first postgraduate programme in Malaysia to combine all three upcoming fields of anti-aging, aesthetics and regenerative medicine.
Designed and offered exclusively to licensed medical doctors, the programme provides learners with a curriculum focusing on evidence-based practices.
Led by practitioners and academics with extensive experience in the field, the programme is specifically designed to provide doctors with knowledge in these three fields through practical and hands-on approaches to learning. These include demonstrations, hands-on practices, laboratory sessions and talks by visiting speakers.
With access to the who’s who in the industry, our learners will also enjoy avenues for further research and collaborations. This provides them with a platform to communicate their findings to the healthcare community through conferences or journal publications.
The School of Healthy Aging, Medical Aesthetics and Regenerative Medicine was established in 2011 and is part of UCSI University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, which has become synonymous with excellence in education and research.
For Malaysian doctors, this is the only Master’s pathway to become a licensed and credentialed doctor in Aesthetic Medicine.
International students will have the advantage of learning evidence-based Aesthetic Medicine.
Students are assessed on assignments, log book recordings and case studies. There are three project papers and three written exams for the subjects of anti-aging, aesthetics and regenerative medicine respectively.
For Malaysian candidates: Medical qualification and at least one year of post registration clinical experience approved by the Senate.

My journey through the the UCSI Masters Anti Aging, Aesthetics and Regenerative Medicine programwas an incredibly enriching and rewarding experience. The most valuable thing about the program is that I have been able to apply the knowledge during the program, and upon graduation to my work immediately, and see the results and improvements in my patients health and well-being first hand.

I am Dr Zaw Min Tun from Myanmar. I joined UCSI University for this anti-aging course. It is a really interesting programme which helped me a lot in my field of expertise. I gained much knowledge and also made new doctor friends that extended my social network. I am honoured to be a part of the pioneering batch of anti-aging students at UCSI University.

When I was searching for a place to be educated as an aesthetic practitioner, I was concerned about the class schedule fitting into my life. UCSI University was ideal as weekend classes allowed me to continue working at my full time position. No doubt the curriculum required hard work but it is very hands on in relation to the current education practices and also allowed for personal contribution to this new field in medicine.I am glad that I chose UCSI University and I feel confident and prepared.
