BEST PAPER AWARD AT THE 2ND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND INTELLIGENT SYSTEM (ICETIS)

Congratulations to Yuan Yunpeng for receiving the Best Paper Award for his research titled “How Does User-Generated Content Affect Users’ Obsessive Use of Lifestyle-Sharing Mobile Social Networking Site?” presented at the 2^nd International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Intelligent System (ICETIS). The conference was held on 2-3 September 2022.

SUCCESSFULLY PUBLISHED A RESEARCH ARTICLE ENTITLED “DOES COVID-19 PANDEMIC MOTIVATE PRIVACY SELF DISCLOSURE IN MOBILE FINTECH TRANSACTIONS? A PRIVACY-CALCULUS-BASED DUAL-STAGE SEM-ANN ANALYSIS”

Congratulations Yuan Yunpeng for successfully publishing a research article entitled “Does COVID-19 Pandemic Motivate Privacy Self Disclosure in Mobile Fintech Transactions? A Privacy-Calculus-Based Dual-Stage SEM-ANN Analysis”.

IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (IEEE) is the ranked ’A’ journal by the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal Quality List and ‘Level 3’ journal in the Association of Business Schools Academic Journal Quality Guide( ABS) and has an Impact Factor of 8.702 according to the Journal Citation Reports 2021 (JCR) by Clarivate Analytics.

Congratulations to Darren Darien Naen, Clarence Voon Kai Le, Kenny Lai Chee Chiang and Eunice Teo Ee for being the 1st and 2nd runner up in the recent “Pesta Lada 2022” cooking competition. The competition was organised by the Malaysian Pepper Board (MPB) in conjunction with the Pepper Festival 2022 at Plaza Merdeka, Kuching.

Congratulations to How Yu Hsuan for winning the First Prize in the Poster Presentation Award, with the poster titled "Effect of Protectants on Freeze-Dried Recombinant Food-Grade Lactococcus lactis NZ3900-Fermented Milk Powder Expressing K-ras Mimotope" in the 12th Asian Conference on Lactic Acid Bacteria, held on 10 – 13 October 2022 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), Sarawak, Malaysia.

WINNING THE 1ST AND 2ND PRIZE IN THE 5TH INTERVARSITY PARASITOLOGY QUIZ & ORATORICAL COMPETITION

Congratulations to Tong Chu Wah and Pon Guan Yu for winning the 1st and 2nd Prize in the 5th Intervarsity Parasitology Quiz & Oratorical Competition on 17 September 2022. A total of 18 universities in Asia (including Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Philippines) participated in this competition organised by the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya.
