Dr. Cham Tat Huei is currently Professor and Deputy Dean at UCSI Graduate Business School, UCSI University, Malaysia. Additionally, he serves as a Visiting Professor at Tashkent State University of Economics (Uzbekistan), Visiting Research Professor at Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (India), and IQRA University (Pakistan). Furthermore, he holds the position of Research Advisor at the Co-operative Institute of Malaysia (CIM) and is a Research Associate at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Dr. Cham received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Malaysia), a Master's degree in Management Studies from the University of Hertfordshire (UK), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INTI International Laureate University (Malaysia). Moreover, he holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Hons) in Entrepreneurship from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Malaysia). Prior to joining academia, he was actively involved as a consumer and industry marketing researcher.

Dr. Cham's research interests primarily encompass marketing, consumer behaviour, business management, tourism and hospitality, service marketing, service industry strategy and operations, technology management, and organizational behaviour. In terms of research activities, Dr. Cham's dedication to research has enabled him to secure funding from local and international institutions, including the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), The Head Foundation Limited (Singapore), the Government of The People's Republic of China, Tun Tan Cheng Lock Centre for Social and Policy Studies, among others, totalling more than RM 500,000. Additionally, Dr, Cham actively engages in consultancy activities and has successfully undertaken consultancy projects totalling more than RM 70,000.

In terms of research publications, Dr. Cham has published over 50 papers in leading academic journals indexed in Web of Science (SSCI/SCIE/SCI) by Clarivate Analytics and/or SCOPUS by Elsevier and/or Chartered Association of Business Schools (ABS) and/or Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC). These journals include the International Journal of Tourism Research, Journal of Hospitality Marketing and Management, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, Tourism Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Internet Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Journal of Bank Marketing, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, Industrial Management & Data Systems, Computers & Education, European Business Review, Government Information Quarterly, Annals of Operations Research, etc. As for the editorial works, he is currently serving as an Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Marketing Advances and Practices and as an editorial review board member for several international journals (i.e., International Journal of Bank Marketing, Journal of Business-to-Business Marketing, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of Global Scholars of Marketing Science, The Bottom Line, Asian Journal of Business Research, Journal of Applied Structural Equation Modelling, etc.). Besides that, Dr. Cham also serves as the guest editor for the International Journal of Bank Marketing (Emerald Publishing) and the Journal of Marketing Analytics (Springer Publishing). The current Google Scholar and Scopus H-index of Dr. Cham are 32 and 24, respectively.

In recognition of his research achievements, Dr Cham has been awarded several prestigious awards, such as the Best Reviewer Award (2023) by the Journal of Global Scholars of Marketing Science (Taylor and Francis), Top Downloaded Article (2023) by the International Journal of Tourism Research (Wiley), Top Research Publications Contributor Award (2022) by UCSI University, Highly Cited Paper Award (2022) by UCSI University, Most Productive Researcher Award (2021) by UCSI Graduate Business School, Best Paper Award (2020) at the International Postgraduate Symposium in Tourism and Hospitality (IPSTH2020), Best Reviewer Award (2017/2018) by the Asian Journal of Business Research, Outstanding Paper Award (2018) by the QS Subject Focus Summit Research Sharing Session, and Best Paper Award (2018) at the MAG Scholar Conference. In 2022, he won three Best Paper Awards at the International Conference on Information Systems and Intelligent Applications (ICISIA2022), 2nd International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ICETIS2022), and International Conference on Responsible Tourism and Hospitality (ICRTH2022). Two of Dr. Cham's articles have been recognized as Highly Cited Papers in Essential Science Indicators (ESI) by Web of Science (WoS) for the year 2023.

In addition to research-related activities, Dr. Cham has always been able to bring in his sound, versatile knowledge and experience in entrepreneurship and research skills to the classroom, work, training, and to other formal centres wherever such knowledge and expertise are needed. He is always keen to share his knowledge and experiences with his peers and students for their self-development. His teaching capabilities have been evaluated positively by his peers and students. In recognition of his dedication to delivering high-quality teaching, Dr. Cham has been awarded various recognitions that including Most Promising Academician Award (2022) by UCSI University, Teaching Excellence Award (2021) by UCSI University, Teaching Excellence Award (2021) by UCSI Graduate Business School, Certificate of Achievement for Excellence Academic Evaluation (2021) by UCSI Graduate Business School, and Congratulation Letter on Excellence Teaching Performance from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) for the year 2017, 2019, and 2020.

In recognition of his outstanding academic leadership achievements, Dr Cham has been appointed to be one of the members of the Young Scientists Network-Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM). YSN-ASM is an affiliation under the umbrella of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM), a prestigious body mandated to provide strategic advisory inputs to the Government of Malaysia and stakeholders and pursue excellence in science, engineering, and technology (SET). Moreover, Dr Cham’s encouraging track record in the academic world has also allowed him to be awarded the National Outstanding Young Educator Award by the Private Education Co-operative of Malaysia (EduCoop Malaysia, www.educoopmalaysia.com) and the UTAR Outstanding Alumni Award (Professional, Academic and Research Excellence category) by Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Malaysia) in 2022.

As for the professional academic roles, Dr Cham has been appointed as an Auditor for the Malaysian Research Assessment (MyRA) for the Higher Education Institutions under the purview of the Malaysian Government, a Visiting Professor for Tashkent State University of Economics (Uzbekistan), Visiting Professor for Universitas Multimedia Nusantara  (UMN) of Indonesia, Visiting Research Professor for Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences of China, Visiting Research Professor for Symbiosis International (Deemed) University of India, Visiting Professor for IQRA University of Pakistan, Adjunct Professor for Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Malaysia), Visiting Lecturer /Scholar for St. Vincent’s College Incorporated (Dipolog City, Philippines), and External Examiner/Assessor for various higher learning institutions that include Curtin University (Australia), Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia), International University of Malaya-Wales (Malaysia), Sunway University (Malaysia), International Medical University (Malaysia), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), Malaysia Multimedia University (MMU), HELP University (Malaysia), Nilai University (Malaysia), and First City University College (Malaysia), to name a few.
