Airlangga Development Scholarship

This is a partial international scholarship funded by Universitas Airlangga offering international students an opportunity to undertake study for master’s and doctoral degrees, ranging from health, natural, and social sciences study fields. All courses are fully delivered in English.

  • What does Airlangga Development Scholarship cover?
    • Annual Living Allowance: IDR 30 millions
    • Visa
    • Complimentary: Bahasa Indonesia course for academic purposes for one year
  • Commencement:
    • Master’s Degree: July / August
    • Doctoral Degree: January / July - August

Scholarship for Academic Mobility Exchange Programmes

AMERTA for MASTER Program

This is an international scholarship funded by Universitas Airlangga offering a semester exchange programme for international master students in social and cultural, economics, natural sciences, and health/life sciences. All courses are fully delivered in English.

  • What does AMERTA Program scholarship cover?
    • Tuition Fee Waiver
    • Living Allowance: IDR 5 million for one semester
    • Bahasa Indonesia Course
    • Cultural Trips
  • Programme duration: 1 or up to 2 semesters
  • Commencement:
    • First semester (Fall Semester): August to December
    • Second semester (Spring Semester): February to June
  • Application Deadline
    • First semester
      • Early Bird* (15 May): will get a limited-stay visa (requires no extensions during period of study)
      • Regular** (30 June): will get a single-entry visa (requires monthly extensions during period of study)
    • Second semester
      • Early Bird* (15 Nov): will get limited-stay visa (requires no extensions during period of study)

  • This scholarships, bursaries and awards are offered as a reduction in the tuition fees for the first year of study only. It is applicable to all full-time Bachelor and Master programmes.

Deakin International Scholarship Program

Recognising high-achieving international students

High-achieving international students are encouraged to apply for one of Deakin University's international student scholarships. The University of West of England, Bristol

UWE Bristol's Lord Templeman Scholarship is open for applying now for Malaysia student.

This scholarship is awarded to an academic outstanding student who wish to study LLB (H) Law programme at UWE, Bristol in this 2018 September. This scholarship is worth £13,000 as tuition fee waiver.

It will be good if you can let your student know about this. Especially, those who are interested to apply Law degree.


Who can apply?
  • Have applied for one UWE Bristol’s LLB(Hons) courses
  • Have achieved the equivalent of
    • 3 A-levels at grade AAB or AAA
    • STPM 3A1B
    • IB 35
    • UKDT in law with excellent academic performances
  • Hold a conditional or unconditional LLB(Hons) Law offer from UWE

How to apply?
  • Offer Letter:
    Students will need to apply to get a conditional/unconditional offer to study LLB(Hons) Law at UWE for September 2017 intake
  • Personal Statement:
    Upload a personal statement clearly saved as “Personal Statement for Lord Templeman Malaysia Scholarship” on the UWE Welcome portal. The deadline for application is 30th April 2018. The personal statement should answer the following questions:
    • Why should we consider you for Lord Templeman Malaysia Scholarship?
    • Short term and Long term career plan
      Explain in detail your short-term and long-term career plan. Explain how your UWE qualification will enable you to attain your goals and tell us how you expect your career to progress once you graduate. Give specific examples and use your experience to demonstrate that your plans are realistic.
    • UWE Ambassador
      UWE Academic Excellence scholarships require you to become a UWE Ambassador. Briefly explain how you will fulfil the role. Tell us what experience and ideas you will you bring to the scheme that is unique.

The University of Northampton International Scholarship

The University of Northampton International Scholarship scheme is a merit-based scholarship that provides from 10% up to a 30% reduction in tuition fees. All full-time Undergraduate and Postgraduate taught courses delivered on campus fall within the scheme and student will be considered for a scholarship on the basis of their academic achievement. Student do not have to apply for this scholarship separately from initial application and will be informed of the outcome in offer letter.

The International Graduate Scholarship

The International Graduate Scholarship offers a 50% fee discount to graduates of the University of Northampton. This scholarship is available if students wish to study a Master’s course and have achieved a second class degree from a three or four year Bachelor’s degree. Top up students are eligible if they achieve a First class.

International Scholarship
Eligibility

These scholarships apply to full-time students on undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research programmes, in the first year of study, enrolling in September 2018 or January 2019. The scholarships are available to both sponsored and self-funded students, as a tuition fee reduction. The value of the scholarship is either £1,000 or £1,500, based on your GPA or IELTS score. The University assess your eligibility automatically and will communicate a scholarship award following your academic application.

You may receive one of the following scholarships:

Academic Scholarship:
  1. If you meet the academic entry requirements for your chosen programme, as referenced on your country page, you will be awarded £1,000. If you exceed the academic entry requirements you will be awarded £1,500. If you hold qualifications not listed on your country page, please contact International Admissions for further eligibility information.

English Language Scholarship:
  1. If you achieve an IELTS score of 0.5 above the minimum requirement for your course, you will be awarded £1,000
  2. If you achieve an IELTS score of 1.0 above the minimum requirement for your course, you will be awarded £1,500

Teesside University Advance

Teesside University Advance is available for all full-time students (Home, EU and International) enrolling on Year 0 or Year 1 of a full-time undergraduate course delivered at our Middlesbrough campus. This is awarded automatically after enrolment and includes:

  1. an Apple iPad installed with Office 365 software, the University's student portal, access to email, timetables, virtual learning environment and library resources
  2. an iPad compatible keyboard
  3. £100 credit that can be used to purchase course textbooks and learning resources
  4. plus lecture-capture technology across campus so you can access recordings of lectures at any time, from anywhere

Early Payment Discount

If you are an international (non-EU) fee-paying, full-time student at Teesside University and pay your fees in full before you enrol, you get a £500 discount. Please note - for students enrolling on a 2 year master's degree, paying £7,000 a year, you are entitled to a £500 discount if pay your fee prior to enrolment in the first year of study only.
