To support the group’s healthcare industry recruitment needs, which includes manpower planning, the recruitment and selection of viable candidates, utilizing the HR system and managing internal communications.


Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • To be responsible for the whole recruitment process; from recruitment to the selection of potential candidates by working with recruitment agencies, online job portals and LinkedIn.
  • To establish recruiting requirements by understanding the plans and objectives of an organization, and by meeting managers in discussing the workforce needs.
  • To determine the proper applicant requirements by studying and proposing accurate job descriptions and qualifications.
  • To prepare candidate assessment reports and making professional recommendations.
  • To coordinate recruitment activities and conduct joint interviews with the Heads of Departments.
  • To conduct thorough character, background and reference checks on recommended and/or successful candidates.
  • To prepare Offer Letters / Fixed Term contracts for incoming staff; to ensure that it is signed and returned before the commencement date of their employment.
  • To augment, maintain and compile the candidates’ database; introduce innovative and creative ideas in recruiting new candidates.
  • To participate and engage in recruitment drives organized by the group, i.e. career fair exhibitions, seminars.

Operations

  • To prepare and consolidate HR reports, the budget for current and upcoming headcounts, and forecasts according to the year.
  • Safekeeping of the Manpower Requisition Forms.
  • To assist in preparing monthly reports – including but not limited to recruitment status, shortlisted candidates’ database and others.
  • To preserve and maintain the HR Online Tools, upholding local regulatory requirements and the company’s HR policies and procedure per UCSI’s ISO (International Standard Organization) obligations.
  • To supervise and provide professional support to subordinates in terms of HR and recruitment matters.
  • To perform all other duties that may be assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time.
  • To take initiatives and ownership over one’s self-development and the improvement of the company.


Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any relevant field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of working experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Candidates with backgrounds in the healthcare industry and those specialized in hospital recruitments are encouraged to apply.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, possesses a mature attitude, and able to work independently and within a team.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
