Stewarding Department (Springhill, Negeri Sembilan)

Responsibilities
This position maintains all Stewarding functions. Responsible for cleaning of all china, glass, silver and serving equipment; facilitating all plate-up and delivery of all food the prospective functions; set-up and breakdown of all Banquet buffets; cleaning of all Food & Beverage food prep and servicing areas, to include main kitchen, concessions kitchen and back hallways.
Position available:
Chief Steward
- To supervises and coordinates activities of staff working in the stewarding department in a restaurant
Steward Supervisor
- Responsible ensuring the supervising and coordinating activities of the hourly Dishwashing staff. Top of the line equipment
Steward
- To assist in keeping a restaurant clean and sanitary, assists in cleaning dishes, and tends to customers' needs
- May also perform basic administrative tasks, such as answering phones, taking reservations, and giving out basic information
Requirements
- Experience of working in a similar role and/or environment (preferably in a high end restaurant within the hotel, leisure or hospitality industry would be a distinct advantage)
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
- Accurate and efficient cash handling skills
- High standard of personal presentation
