Kuala Lumpur, 28 November 2010 - It was an evening of festivities during a private dinner party to celebrate the birthdays of two of UCSI University’s most prominent figures. UCSI Group Chairman Dato’ Peter Ng threw the party on 28 November for UCSI University Chancellor YBhg Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima (Dr) Rahman Arshad and UCSI University Council Chairman YBhg Tan Sri Datuk Seri (Dr) Musa Mohamad who each celebrate their birthday on 27 and 29 November. 

Accompanied by their Puan Sris, the two birthday guests of honour arrived at the JW Marriott Hotel in Kuala Lumpur to celebrate their special days along with Dato’ Peter, Datin Lily and UCSI University Vice Chancellor Dr Robert Bong as well as University Council members, vice presidents and business leaders of the UCSI Group. 

UCSI Group Vice President of Group Corporate Affairs Ms Margaret Soo orchestrated the evening’s programme with assistance from an eight-member catering team. With the entire restaurant reserved, guests enjoyed a relaxing evening of laughter, relaxation and an overall sense of kinship. As the birthday cake was cut, the Tan Sris were surrounded by a sense of good wishes as toasts were made, a pantun was recited and even an impromptu love song sung. As the party wore down, both Tan Sris thanked their hosts with a short speech for providing such a lovely birthday celebration.
