About The Campus



Situated on a 20-acre site in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, UCSI University’s campus offers convenient access to a wide range of facilities including banks, restaurants, public transportation, entertainment outlets and accommodation. Fully wireless and digitally enabled, the campus is equipped with advanced technologies that support e-learning and access to extensive e-resources.

The campus comprises seven blocks, including the Student Centre (Menara Gading), Resource Centre, academic blocks and residential halls, collectively accommodating a student population of more than 15,000.

A wide range of sports and recreational facilities is available on campus, including basketball, badminton and squash courts, a gymnasium, football field and swimming pool. Other facilities include a four-level library, auditorium, recital hall, multi-purpose hall, computer laboratories, residential halls, bookstores, cafeterias, as well as an Apple Experience Centre.

Faculty-centric facilities support specialised learning and research across disciplines, including the Anatomy and Pathology Museum, Clinical Skills Laboratories, Petrochemical Laboratory, Physiology and Pharmacology Laboratory, Molecular Biology Laboratory, Microbiology Laboratory, Artificial Intelligence Lab, Cybersecurity Lab, fashion design workshops, Psychology Laboratory, as well as drafting and design studios.

The University also continues to work closely with industry partners to establish specialised laboratories that ensure students are exposed to current industrial practices. Existing collaborations include laboratories jointly developed with National Instruments and RICOH under the School of Engineering and the School of Information Technology respectively.

Looking ahead, UCSI has launched a major campus expansion involving the construction of two 38-storey blocks. The development will increase the operational space of the Kuala Lumpur campus by approximately one million square feet and expand student capacity by more than 3,000.

The new development will house the University’s Chancellery and administrative offices, alongside dedicated space for UCSI’s Institute of Music, which is ranked 24th globally in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 for both Music and Performing Arts.

To further strengthen its position as a regional hub for the performing arts, the expansion will also feature a state-of-the-art complex comprising a 2,500-seat grand hall, a 600-seat recital hall, a 400-seat black box theatre, and more than 400 rehearsal and practice rooms.
