Senior Professor Dato’ Dr Khalid Yusoff is the third Vice-Chancellor and President of UCSI University.
Professor Khalid’s inaugural year at the helm of the University continues to bring about great achievements and transformations. His dedication to the pursuit of excellence and quality ties in nicely with UCSI University’s founding values and his insight will set the University in good stead. The march to push the University further and higher with passionate commitment and tremendous team effort has elevated UCSI University to Tier-5, an “Excellent” status in the Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education Institutions 2013 exercise (SETARA 2013) awarded by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). UCSI University is at the same Tier as the best universities in Malaysia, branches of foreign universities included.

In his role as Vice-President (Group Human Resource and Internal Audit), Associate Professor Dato' Dr Toh Kian Kok ensures that HR decisions are done in accordance with company policy, labour law, as well as other social and ethical parameters. He is also responsible for inculcating a culture of excellence and he has engineered a number of audit exercises that are purposed to improve performance and work ethics.
An actuary by training, Dr Toh has played an instrumental role behind UCSI’s rising global profile. The University has made a steady climb in various global rankings and it is distinguished as Malaysia’s best private university in the QS World University Rankings 2019 exercise, as well as one of the world’s top 70 young universities under 50 years old in the 2019 QS Top 50 Under 50 rankings. His contributions also saw UCSI attain both ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications, becoming the first private university in Malaysia to do so.
Dr Toh also serves as the Business Development Advisor of UCSI Group. Prior to these roles, he served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Quality Assurance and Enhancement) and Dean of the Faculty of Business and Information Science – the largest faculty at the University. He received his PhD in Statistics from Universiti Malaya and earned an MSc in Applied Mathematical Sciences, as well as a BSc in Actuarial Science from universities in the US.

As Group Financial Controller, Wong Ming Fang oversees and manages the finances for UCSI Group. She holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree from Lincoln University, New Zealand where she studied commerce and management.
Before joining the Group, Wong worked in the treasury department of RHB Bank where her responsibilities included analysing the bank's assets and liabilities, recommending interest-rates and working with a team to develop the bank's strategies.
She strives to live her life with joy, energy and positive thinking and share her knowledge and values with those around her.

Abu Bakar bin Jalaluddin first attained his LL.B (Honours) from the University of London, followed by his Master of Business Administration at Southern Cross University in New South Wales, Australia where he is also pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration.
He began his career with the civil service and later joined a private practice and consultancy firm. In 1994, he became the Principal of Stamford College, Kuala Lumpur and was the coordinator for Stamford Law School. In 2001, he joined UCSI University as Legal Advisor which included a portfolio related to businesses in the Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia.
Today, he continues to helm the Group Legal Affairs Office, sparing time to support and manage several non-governmental bodies close to his heart, including WAKE, an NGO that provides shelter for women and children with AIDS.
As UCSI Group expands and prospers, Abu Bakar intends to apply his extensive experience in senior management, legal practice and administration to add value to member companies and propel them to greater heights in conformity with the vision and the mission of UCSI Group.
Ng Chee Kiong first joined UCSI in 1989, which was then known as the Canada Institute of Computer Science. As one of the first staff members to join the UCSI family, Ng's institutional memory has been a huge asset to the Group as it grew from a small business to an international university with a wide range of facilities.
Ng was responsible for the establishment's movement from a building in Taman Segar, Cheras to its current Kuala Lumpur campus spanning more than 19 acres. Ng is also currently overseeing the vast project of building the 160-acre UCSI University main campus in Negeri Sembilan, Port Dickson. Meanwhile, he also oversees the property and logistical assets of the Group's 19 subsidiaries along with the University's three campuses.
Ng aspires to continue building the Group's infrastructure as it grows into a household name both locally and internationally.
MBA (UniSA), BSc (Econ) Hons (London)
As the vice-president of Student Enrolment Centre at UCSI University, Mr Willie Tan oversees the marketing, business development and student admission at both the national and international level.
Spanning more than 21 years of his career, Mr Tan has taken on a diverse range of key portfolios in the private education industry in Malaysia. These include strategic marketing management at the national and international level, programme and business development, lecturing, academic administration and new education establishment setup.
Prior to joining UCSI University, Mr Tan served as Senior Business Development Director with an education group and pioneered its successful venture into the international market, which facilitated the attainment of the groups’ diversification and growth strategic objectives. Prior to this, he helmed the marketing department of an established leading private university and successfully pioneered many marketing best practices for higher education which led to the university’s above industry average growth.
Mr Tan holds a BSc in Economics with Honours from the University of London, UK and an International Master of Business Administration from the University of South Australia.
Leading the Computer Services Department in UCSI University, Daniel Quah Eng San is responsible for implementing several of the online University portals as well as upgrading the entire University’s wireless campus to the latest technology with 4G capability with indoor and outdoor coverage. He was also responsible for improving the network performance and reducing network downtime for the entire UCSI KL campus through network re-designing and gradual upgrading of equipment.
Daniel Quah first joined UCSI University in 1992. Prior to being the Group Chief Information Officer, he held several other positions within the University such as the Vice-President of the ICT and Student Affairs, the Vice-President of the ICT and Business Development, and the Managing Director of UCSI CompuTech, a subsidiary of UCSI University, among many others. He has accumulated more than 29 years of working experience under his belt.

As Vice-President of the Group Corporate Affairs, Mr Leong Sat Sing is responsible for enhancing the brand identity of UCSI Group. This encompasses managing brand equity, ensuring consistency throughout the organisation and spearheading initiatives that deliver the brand promise to the general public.
With more than 25 years of experience in the education industry, Mr Leong first made his name when he pioneered the marketing and public relations department of a leading Malaysian higher education provider. He also started the franchising and collaboration activities of the institution.
Mr Leong was subsequently engaged as a training director for a global manufacturing company where he successfully organised various training programmes for the internal and external workforce. After a brief term as head of international sales and marketing at his first place of employment, Mr Leong was appointed CEO of a local private college.
He joins UCSI with the desire to take the Group to greater heights. Mr Leong holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Malaya and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University.
