Finance Manager
Faculty/Department: Group Finance Office

Responsibilities
1.Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely submission of consolidated reports for all campuses and business units.
- Analyse financial performance, variances, and trends to support decision-making.
- Oversee programme cost analysis and faculty performance reporting.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop and manage the annual budget across faculties, departments, and administrative units.
- Provide financial forecasting, scenario modelling, and expenditure monitoring.
- Support management in evaluating new academic programmes, capital projects, and expansions.
3. Compliance, Audit & Governance
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements (MoHE, LHDN, SST, EPF, SOCSO, E Invoice etc.).
- Coordinate internal and external audits; implement corrective actions.
- Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and SOPs.
4. Cost Control & Financial Efficiency
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across operations, procurement, facilities, and academic units.
- Review vendor contracts, purchase requests, and capital expenditure proposals.
- Ensure efficient cashflow management to support university operations.
5. Team Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance.
- Implement digitalisation and automation initiatives to streamline financial processes.
- Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
5–10 years of experience in finance/accounting roles.
Able to work under pressure.
