The event started with a key note speech from Dr Zafri, UNITEN’s Faculty of Engineering lecturer. During his speech, Dr Zafri welcomed the forum panel consisting of Dr Sazalinsyah, Dr Mohamed Khan, IEEE RAS Vice Chair and Assistant Professor at UCSI University and Dr Sami Salama. Dr Zafri was also the forum moderator.
The event was attended by more than 40 participants, mostly students and staff from various engineering departments. In the forum discussion various hurdles faced in Malaysia and the world in the development of Robotics and Automation were discussed.
The latest trends in Malaysia related to Industry 4.0 and its acceptance in Malaysia were also some of the key points discussed.
The focus of the talk was on how the education system in Malaysia can be revamped and how the government should move forward to adapt to the changes happening in the field of robotics and automation. The solution to overcome these challenges were also discussed in-depth.
The event ended with the closing speech in which the moderator thanked all the participants and the forum panel for their valuable contributions.
