KUALA LUMPUR, 17 December 2021 – UCSI University’s Faculty of Engineering, Technology and Built Environment recently launched a programme in Bachelors of Energy Engineering with Honours with its tagline, “Ignite the Future Power of Sustainable Energy Resources”.

“The faculty is establishing more than 15 engineering labs powered by IR4.0 technologies. The labs are equipped with industry-leading technologies, built-in management systems and face recognition,” said Dr Ang Chun Kit, Dean of Faculty of Engineering & Technology at UCSI University.

One of the unique features that make the faculty stand out is that the course structure of the programmes is all enriched with the latest IR 4.0 elements and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through its design of a specialisation track.

He added, “The programme is supported by highly experienced and qualified subject experts from other local and overseas institutions to give a holistic learning environment to the students.”

Also present was Mohammad Nazri Bin Mizayuddin, Chief Strategic Officer of Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia (SEDA) at the virtual launching ceremony.
