Prof. Dr. Mohamad Bilal Ali is a distinguished academic and educator with more than four decades of experience in teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, and academic leadership. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the advancement of higher education in Malaysia through his commitment to scholarly excellence, capacity building, and mentorship of emerging researchers.
His research interests span educational technology, digital learning, student engagement, motivation, research methodology, and quantitative analysis in education. He has successfully supervised numerous doctoral and master's candidates from Malaysia and abroad, many of whom have graduated and progressed into academic and professional leadership positions. In addition, he has served extensively as an internal and external examiner, viva voce chairperson, thesis reviewer, and member of academic and ethics committees.
Prof. Dr. Mohamad Bilal Ali is recognised for his expertise in educational research design, and advanced statistical analysis. His scholarly contributions have focused on strengthening methodological rigour in educational research and promoting evidence-based practices that enhance teaching, learning, and student development. Through sustained engagement in research, postgraduate education, and academic service, he continues to contribute to the development of high-quality scholarship, international collaboration, and innovation in higher education.
