Overview

The Master of Sustainable Built Environment prepares future leaders to shape cities and communities that are environmentally responsible, socially inclusive and economically resilient. The programme fosters a holistic understanding of sustainability within the built environment by integrating design innovation, technological advancement, environmental performance and strategic thinking.

Students critically engage with real-world challenges, explore emerging technologies and develop solutions that address global climate concerns alongside local community needs. The programme strengthens analytical skills, research capability and professional competence, equipping graduates to make meaningful contributions across multiple sectors of the built environment.

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the Senate;

OR

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and below 2.75, subject to rigorous internal assessment;

OR

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a CGPA below 2.50, subject to a minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment.
