
Overview
The MBA (Healthcare and Hospital Management) is designed to develop competent, responsible, and forward-thinking leaders in the healthcare sector. This programme integrates core managerial disciplines with specialised knowledge in healthcare systems, hospital operations, quality management, health informatics, finance, human resources, and strategic leadership.
Through a combination of theoretical foundations, applied learning, and exposure to real-world healthcare environments, students develop the analytical, managerial, and decision-making competencies required to address the complex challenges of modern healthcare organisations. Graduates are prepared to contribute effectively to service improvement, organisational performance, and leadership excellence across diverse healthcare and hospital settings.
Academic Requirements
i. A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
ii. A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.5, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
iii. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (ii).
