UCSI Students Promote Korean Cuisine, Culture and Music

41 UCSI University’s students from its Diploma in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, and Leisure Management programmes will be organising the first Korean Showcase on the 22nd and 23rd November 2014 from 11am to 9pm at Boulevard Shopping Mall. The Korean Showcase is part of the Korean Night 2014, held on the 29th November at The Quad Restaurant, UCSI University Sarawak Campus.

In conjunction with the University’s annual cooking competition, The Next Big Chef - Season 2, the Korean Showcase is organised to raise awareness on Korean cuisine, culture and performance among the locals. It also aims to showcase Korean cuisine and performances by the University’s students. Among the activities of the two-day event will be The Next Big Chef – Season 2, Korean traditional dance, face painting or Korean makeup, Korean language booth, food and mocktail tasting, lucky draws and games. Interestingly, UCSI students will also showcase a Korean flash mob dance in Boulevard Kuching during the event days.
