About Us

The Centre of Research was established in June 2021, with the objective to foster convergent and interdisciplinary collaboration with reputable universities and research institutes across the globe. The centre will serve as a research hub for product commercialisation of new innovations and as an excellent platform for closer public-private partnership (PPP) development. UCSI’s research consortium addresses core UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG, 1: No Poverty, 2: Zero Hunger, 4: Quality Education, 5: Gender Equality, 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, 14: Life Below Water). This consortium has been strategically framed to cultivate and enhance sustainable aquaculture, weaving itself into the Blue Economy model, impacting the community, economy, and the environment positively.
