The aim of this talk, held on 21^st February 2019, was to inform and educate all logistics and supply chain students on their career path in logistics.

The event was organised by the Logistics Student Association (LSA) of UCSI University inviting Edmund Mun, from Big Bath, to share his experiences and industrial expectations in logistics.  

Edmund shared on opportunities to develop students’ careers in Big Bath. This included the Internship Programme, the Fresh Graduate Programme and the 2019 Global Management Trainee programme. The talk created a platform for students to engage in various job positions offered at Big Bath.

Apart from that, the talk highlighted the importance of logistics activities and included the history of Big Bath and its parent company, Leonfast Sdn Bhd.

Edmund also emphasised that all future logisticians ought to be aware of global issues especially those economically and logistically related, for instance, the trade war between the worlds’ two largest economies, the United States of America and China. He reminded them to keep themselves updated on this issue as well as other similar issues.

This business model used by Big Bath acted as an important role to connect and integrate the quality of the logistics and supply chain industry. The talk benefited all participants who attended the event.

With the connection and collaboration of both academic and industrial links, it is believed that this programme imparted a lot of new knowledge to students especially in the career path of being a senior logistics executive.

This talk also provided a platform for students to develop their knowledge and prepare for their future career paths according to their interests.
