Research and Teaching Excellence Awards 2021 & UCSI Press

The UCSI University Research and Teaching Excellence Awards 2021 Ceremony recognised 25 awardees who made a difference in 2021. The award recognised academics' contributions to research and teaching at UCSI as well as to the intelligentsia and society at large.

The event, which took place on 24 February 2022, also marked the official launch of the UCSI Press logo. UCSI Press, the university's official publishing arm, presents four prestigious books that have reached the stage of completion and publication.

This book deliberates on STI matters such as why invest in STI, how to strengthen STI, which economic sectors to focus on, developing talent in STI and R&D roles in STI, especially on how the power of STI can be harnessed to achieve sustainability.

Resetting Malaysia Education, Faith and Society by Professor Dr Mohamad Tajuddin Mohamad Rasdi

A series of articles predicated on the idea of how each citizenry can change this nation by changing the people’s attitudes, mindsets and much-inherited perspectives, narratives and perceptions.

Mocktails 20 MUST-TRY DRINK authored and edited collectively by a group of lecturers and students from FHTM. The book editors consist of Nursyafiqah Ramli, Dr Mark Kasa, Chef Mohamad Fadzly Che Omar and Dr Sean Calvin Yong Shin Ching

The book brings a selection of wonderfully wild and flavourful mocktail concoctions made from Malaysian herbs, spices and fruits.

Bajautopia: Tales of Borneo’s Sea Nomads edited by Dr Ng Keng Khoon and Ar Farah Aliza Badaruddin

A collection of essays and architectural research, produced and edited by a group of academic staff and students from SABE.
