Among the fields covered during the briefing are business studies, nursing, pharmaceutical studies, optometry, engineering, medicine as well as anti-aging, aesthetics and regenerative medicine.

Prior to the briefing session, the Colonel also met UCSI founder and Group chairman, Dato’ Peter Ng, and some of the managing directors and CEOs of UCSI Group subsidiaries. These include UCSI Extension and UCSI Blue Ocean Strategy Consulting @ UCSI Consulting Group and the meeting explored opportunities for management training programmes for the Royal Oman Police Hospital personnel.

It was also made known by Colonel Abdul Malik to the management of UCSI that prior to his departure to KL, he had received support and recommendations from the Inspector General of Police, Sultanate of Oman, to seek partnership for training programmes for all departments and self-development programme for the Inspector General himself in relation to the preparation of the Royal Oman Police Force’s newly acquired 600-bedded hospital project. The hospital is expected to be completed in 2018.

According to the Colonel, following his visit to UCSI, the Royal Oman Police Force will be sending a batch of high level delegates in the near future.

Colonel Abdul Malik expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to UCSI’s management and everyone involved for the warm hospitality and generosity accorded throughout his one-week stay in Malaysia. A report of the Colonel’s fruitful inaugural visit will be prepared for the consideration of the higher management of the Sultanate of Oman’s Police Force.
