Biography

Chloe received her Bachelor of Contemporary Music from UCSI University, majoring in Contemporary Vocals under the tutelage of Winnie Ho. A recipient of UCSI Trust Scholarship, Chloe was involved in several duties on and offstage, such as having participated in a vocal masterclass led by Vince Chong, leading the UCSI Chamber Choir as Vice President, who went on to win a Gold Medal at the International Bali Choir Competition (2015), as well as co-hosting several concerts held by the Institute of Music and participating in a musical held by the Christian Fellowship in the form of songwriting, arranging, acting and singing.

Chloe went on to sign to a record label, taking on the stage name 'SHN' and producing a debut bilingual album despite not speaking the Mandarin language prior. She has travelled to Beijing and Shanghai for training, both singing and dancing, as well as auditioning for several Chinese programmes such as "Sing! China" and "青春有你" (Qing Chun You Ni).

After several years with the label, Chloe moves on to narrow her focus onto the English music industry. She released several singles that led up to a debut EP, collaborated with local acts such as RESORT and TY:DEL as well as Gareth Fernandez from across the Causeway. One of her songs, "all the other boys", made its way to the semi-finals for Anugerah Lagu Indie (2021). Chloe continues to put work into SHN, now garnering over 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and having her top track sit with over a million streams.

Some notable places or festivals Chloe has performed at includes Urbanscapes 2019, Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC), Merdekarya, The Bee, LiveFact and many more.
