WELL ATTENDED: Approximately 150 of UCSI’s business students attended the talk by MAICSA.

KUALA LUMPUR: UCSI University recently invited The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) to its Kuala Lumpur campus to deliver a talk to its business programme students. The talk was delivered by the organisation’s Deputy President Ms Chua Siew Chuan. MAICSA was also represented by Mrs YC Chan, its Chief Executive. 

This event was organised by UCSI’s Department of Management Studies, Faculty of Business and Information Science, to provide its students an early understanding of the professional qualification that could give their careers that added edge. By introducing its students to MAICSA, the Faculty aims to encourage its students to obtain this professional qualification. 

In line with this, Ms Chua’s speech covered the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and MAICSA as well as the ICSA qualification. She also gave the students valuable insights on the career of a company secretary. 

The talk was enthusiastically attended by approximately 150 business degree and diploma students of the Faculty.
