UCSI students attend interesting career talk by Zuellig Pharma

KUALA LUMPUR: UCSI University’s (UCSI) Logistics Students Association (LSA) recently organised a successful career talk featuring a speaker from one of Asia’s renowned pharmaceutical distribution companies, Zuellig Pharma (ZP).

The event saw ZP’s associate director of Human Resource, Mr Daniel Tan, giving an insightful and encouraging talk to the University’s students, who hailed from various faculties and programmes.

During the talk, the audience was provided with a brief introduction of the company, its objectives and range of products and services. Mr Tan also willingly shared his experience and gave the students valuable advice and guidelines on the many aspects of securing a job or internship placement.

These include ‘Do’s and Don’ts during an Interview’ and ‘The Essentials for Your First Day at Work’, to name a few, which vastly enhanced the students’ knowledge and ensured they were prepared for their future careers.

Notably, the career talk provided an ideal platform for students to be exposed to not just the pharmaceutical industry but specialised distribution activities – such as transportation, warehousing or procurement – as well.

ZP is interested to employ fresh graduates from UCSI and as such, is offering internship opportunities. This will enable students to apply what they have learned to real-life settings.
