UCSI University formalised a landmark research partnership with Universiti Malaya to advance high-impact, cross-disciplinary research through a three-year Memorandum of Agreement between both universities.
This collaboration supported five research projects spanning renewable energy fluctuations, femur drilling innovation, AI-driven risk detection, sustainable and green finance, and the conservation of Malaysian heritage buildings.
The event also featured a keynote address by Academy of Sciences Malaysia CEO Hazami Habib, titled “Asean Ahead: STI Ecosystem Foresight 2035 and Beyond,” highlighting regional perspectives on science, technology, and innovation.
UCSI extends its appreciation to Universiti Malaya for their trust and collaboration, and looks forward to further strengthening this partnership to drive impactful research outcomes.
