Responsibilities
- To station in the Hostel premises as assigned.
- To perform a patrol in and around the Residential Hall premises from time to time and inspection/spot checks.
- To write a daily report on all occurrences in the Hostel and hand it to the immediate supervisor in the next morning.
- To notify and report to the immediate supervisors for any emergency occurrences.
- Handle checks in and checks out after working hours.
- Be the liaison person in between maintenance and students on work request orders and cleaners to ensure that the hostel premises are kept clean and functional.
- Be the liaison person in between the security department/authority and residents on midnight emergency (e.g. Resident falling ill, accident happens in the hostel) to ensure that the residents are being treated or sent to hospital on time.
- Do light maintenance and repairing jobs (e.g. changing of rooms light bulb, plumbing, carpentry) in the night time or when needs arise (after office hours).
- Report any incidents and offences of residents in the hostel to the Student Affairs & Alumni (SAA).
- Shall channel appeal from students and parents to the Student Affairs & Alumni (SAA).
- Guarding the premises against intrusion on unauthorized entries. To provide 24 hours of effective security and safety coverage of the facilities and premises.
- Permitting only authorized person / visitors to enter the premises.
- Maintain an updated record of those entering and exiting the premises.
- To maintain a high standard of disciplines and smartness in appearance at all times.
- Protecting equipment and properties against act of vandalism, theft or sabotage.
- Warden is not permitted to bring any friends/relatives into the work station at any point of time.
- Perform all duties that maybe assigned by your immediate supervisor from time to time.
Requirements
- Candidates with a minimum of 2 years working experience are preferred.
- Candidates must be pro-active and self-motivate, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
- Candidates must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and a good team player.
