Employment And Co Op Placement Centre

Co-Operative Education & Career Services

The Co-Operative Education & Career Services Unit (CECS) carries out internship placements for UCSI University students. CECS also handles placements for fresh graduates. Placement activities are carried throughout the year in January, May, September and November for the duration of 2 to 6 months.

CECS provides assistance in preparing students for future employment through:

  • The placement of UCSI students in curriculum-specific co-operative education internships.
  • The provision of Providing Career Services.
Service

Arranging work placements through coordination with Faculties, Co-Op Employers and UCSI students.

Organising training sessions or workshops on Interview Skills, Grooming, CV Writing and Job-Hunting Seeking.

Providing part-time and fresh graduates employment referrals for student job-seekers.

Coordinating campus recruitment, Career Fairs & Talks by key industry representatives.

Providing one-on-one counselling support for career-related matters
