Adlin Baizura binti Ariffin is a tourism lecturer in the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) at UCSI University Sarawak Campus. She graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kota Samarahan, Kota Kinabalu and Shah Alam with a Master in Tourism Management, Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Tourism Management and Diploma in Tourism Management.
Prior to joining the UCSI academic group, she started off her passion in the tourism and travel industry as an intern in one of the local travel agency, InterContinental Travel Centre Sdn. Bhd. Upon completion of her diploma, she ventured her first career at Wah Tung Travel Service Sdn. Bhd. as a Tour Assistant specialising in outbound tours. After a year of working, she pursued her degree in Kota Kinabalu and later extended her passion in hotel line by joining Kuching Park Hotel as a Front Office Assistant. Backpacked with the mentioned industry experiences, she continued exploring her passion by challenging herself to take up Master degree and later joined Business Events Sarawak (formerly known as Sarawak Convention Bureau) as Business Development Executive in bidding and winning business events for Sarawak, The Land of Hornbill. Since 2010, she has gained her interest and involvement in community-based services as well as leisure and business events. Currently, she is teaching courses related to tourism and travel, business and leisure events, sport management as well as leisure marketing.
