Adlin Baizura Binti Ariffin is a passionate tourism educator and practitioner, currently serving as a Lecturer and Head of Praxis, Industry & Community Engagement at the Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism Management, UCSI University Sarawak Campus. She is actively involved in shaping industry-relevant education and building strong partnerships with local and regional stakeholders in tourism and events.

Adlin is also pursuing her PhD in Tourism at the University of Algarve, Portugal, with a focus on creative and experiential tourism. Her professional growth is reflected in her recent certifications, including Certified Event Planner, Certified Event Manager, and Certified Event Educator awarded by the Asia Pacific Institute for Events Management in 2024. She also completed the Congress Certification Programme Plus (CCP+), organized by MACEOS and BESarawak in collaboration with Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).

With a background in both academia and industry—including her previous role at the Sarawak Convention Bureau—Adlin has led numerous successful workshops, events, and community initiatives. These include event management training for media outlets, government agencies, and tourism stakeholders, as well as advisory roles in various tourism and youth-focused programs.

Her dynamic approach and commitment to practical, impactful education continue to contribute meaningfully to the development of tourism talent and event professionalism in Sarawak and beyond.
