Chef Fadzly Che Omar is currently an Assistant Professor and a Chef at UCSI University. He holds a Master's Degree in Gastronomy, as well as a Degree in Foodservice Management and a Diploma in Chef Training. After gaining experience working in a 5-star hotel in 2006, he became a Chef lecturer with Taylor’s University, Nilai University and Food Institute of Malaysia. In 2011, he worked with Farm Frites International, the Netherlands as a Quality Assurance Manager. Then in 2013 he became the Business Manager at Carefood Industries Sdn Bhd.
Furthermore, Chef Fadzly has competed in various cooking competitions and has amassed numerous medals and awards from Malaysian Skills Competition, Penang Battle of The Chefs and Salon Culinaire Malaysia. Chef Fadzly is also an active member of the Chefs Association of Malaysia (CAM) and is an Executive Committee member for the association. His experiences have brought him to many nations such as the Netherlands, Singapore, Bangkok, Thailand, Shanghai, China, Dubai and UAE, where he has collaborated with various Malaysian Government agencies to promote Malaysian Cuisine and products.
