Responsibilities

  • Digital marketing strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with overall business goals and brand objectives.
  • Team management: Lead and manage a team of digital marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Data analysis: Utilise Python and other data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from digital marketing campaigns, website traffic, and customer behaviour, and use this data to optimise marketing strategies.
  • Automation: Leverage Python to automate marketing processes, data collection, and reporting, improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • SEO and SEM: Work with the web team on search engine optimisation (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) efforts to enhance organic and paid search visibility and drive website traffic.
  • Social media: Work with the content team to develop and implement a social media strategy, including content creation, community management, and paid social advertising.
  • Email marketing: Manage email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and performance tracking.
  • Content marketing: Collaborate with content creators to ensure that digital marketing efforts align with content strategies, including blogging, video, and other multimedia content.
  • Paid advertising: Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and others.
  • Analytics and reporting: Create regular reports on digital marketing KPIs and campaign performance, providing actionable insights for ongoing optimisation.
  • Budget management: Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and campaigns.
  • Marketing technology: Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing technology trends and tools, and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, Product Development, and IT, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Marketing, Business or other related fields.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and social media, with years of leadership and strategy development.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Certifications in data science, digital marketing and Google Analytics are a plus.
