Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire cycle of the Recruitment and Selection for UCSI Group of Companies.
- Responsible for the entire recruitment process. This includes recruitment and selection by working with online job portals, LinkedIn and employee referral program.
- Prepare candidate assessment reports and making professional recommendations.
- Coordinate recruitment activity and conduct joint interviews with the Head of School / Head of Department (inclusive of subsidiary companies).
- Conduct character reference check on recommended/successful candidate.
- Prepare Offer Letter / Contract for incoming staff and to ensure that it is signed and returned by the appointed staff before the date of commencement.
- Prepare Contracts to Lecturers and to ensure that the contracts are issued to them prior to commencement of the semester.
- Compile candidate database and produce creative ideas in candidate recruitment.
- To participate and engage in recruitment drives organized by the group ie. career exhibition, seminars.
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in any discipline.
- General understanding of sourcing and recruiting techniques.
- At least one (1) year experience in the Education industry is an added advantage.
- Outstanding communication ability (both Malay and English).
- Goal orientated, good team player and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Tenacious problem solver, able to work to deadlines and targets.
- Organized and methodical with a keen eye for detail.
- Computer, technology and social media savvy.
