Responsibilities

  • You shall report to your supervisor, Manager, Students' Activities and Recreation (SAR) for all duties assigned to you.
  • You shall coordinate events of interest to students throughout academic year. This includes monitoring attendance, planning, promotions and logistics, working within a set budget and providing all required documentation after the event.
  • You shall provide support and guidance for all student activities and ensure that they are carried out in compliance with rules and regulations of UCSI University and Student Council.
  • Update website with accurate information on activities and events.
  • You shall coordinate with other UCSI University departments, such as Group Logistics Management Office, Security Department, Corporate Communication on matters relating to student activities.
  • You shall contribute to the successful organizing of orientation programmes for new students.
  • You shall assist in publications, promotions and dissemination of approved student activities to the UCSI University campus community.
  • You shall understand the Extra Curricular Learning Experience (ELE) policies and keep ELE guides up to date at all times.
  • You shall work closely University stake holders to manage the administrative and operational aspects of ELE course.
  • You shall maintain the ECA system, evaluate all prospective and incoming student transfer credits and maintain the database of all students who have failed to complete the ELE course and prepare a report on each semester on the ELE course.
  • You will be the ELE course coordinator on all ELE related matters.
  • You shall participate in external networking workshops, meetings and activities that pertain to Student Affairs/ Student Activities.


Requirements

  • Degree in related field.
  • Minimum one (1) year working experience in event.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Pro-active and self motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and a good team player.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Possess own transport.
