Responsibilities

1. Marketing Management

  • To spearhead the sponsorship, government, corporate and/or GLC-affiliated businesses on present and new projects.
  • To seek new partnerships via collaborations and to ensure excellent service & support given.
  • Maintain a knowledge of current company policies, procedures and marketing campaigns.
  • To initiate and evaluate marketing strategies for UCSI University.
  • To initiate and evaluate various school/ institutional outreach and enrich programmes relevant to the specialised markets.
  • To initiate and evaluate various co-branding marketing activities / events with the external parties.
  • To conceptualize, plan and execute effective marketing advertisement and media communication strategies for the specialised market.
  • To deploy internal and external resources to ensure successful recruitment activities.
  • To advise on the national market movement and be alert on the competitors’ movement in the market.

2. Sales Management

  • Enrolment target for year based on the assigned KPIs.
  • To organize resource to achieve the team targets.
  • To lead, manage and support the team of course counselors to achieve sales targets.
  • To surpass the expectations of the customers and prospects.
  • To be innovative, creative and responsible in executing your tasks.
  • Forming a mutually beneficial relationship in a climate of trust and respect with our stakeholders.

3. Services and Administrative

  • To conduct market survey and prepare market analysis quarterly.
  • To maintain process and operational efficiency of the department as well as keeping the team motivated.
  • To ensure all the marketing reports are complete on a timely manner.
  • To ensure sufficient resources to cope with the internal and external activities.

4. Other Areas   

  • To assist in the development projects and programmes of activities undertaken by the Sales & Marketing such as:
    • The implementation of customer care survey / feedback.
    • Any other projects that may arise from time to time.
  • To provide support in any ad-hoc or pre-planned marketing and recruitment activities.
  • To build a robust relationship with all team members and foster a culture of excellent in communication with one another.
  • To carry out such other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by the person acting on behalf of UCSI University.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Minimum 5 years related working experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and a good team player.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess own transport.
