Manager, Student Affairs & Alumni (SAA)

Responsibilities
- To oversee and manage the 5 division under student Affairs and Alumni (SAA) Department.
- Monitor and ensure the compliance of SOP in all division under SAA.
- Secretariat of Student Disciplinary Board (SDB) – receive report, interview all stakeholders, issue hearing / warning letter, ensure the execution of the SDB decision.
- Coordinate with various stakeholder to ensure student handbook, student policy is up to date.
- Manage the Student experience survey, graduate employability survey and survey that are related to QS, Setara and etc.
- Manage the SAA social media channels and website to ensure up to date information is being communicate with students.
- Handle the enquiry / feedback from SAA official email address and social media.
- Actively involved in external collaboration with Ministry of Higher Education, university stakeholders and the community in promoting and enhancing the services available.
- Coach and enhance the development of the Student Council.
- To provide regular and effective supervision to Student Council;
- To ensure the operation and direction of Student Council is parallel to the University;
- To ensure there are regular meetings, follow up with the projects organized by Student Council;
- To be accountable for all account and financial transaction of Student Council by providing financial report of each activity/project no later than 2 weeks from the event;
- To ensure all events and activities organized are published and promoted via all channel- in and out Campus- within stipulated time frame;
- To benchmark it again other local public and overseas well-known institutions/universities.
- Ensure quality programmes are organised for the student organisation and student community projects that are national and/or international levels.
- Supervise, monitor, and facilitate the implementation and operation of UCSI extra-curricular learning experiences.
- Dispense advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies and direction.
- Develop, maintain and manage overall administration and coordination with all division under SAA.
- Ensure systems documentation is appropriately recorded, stored and maintained for all division under SAA.
- To ensure all events and activities organized are published and promoted via all channel- in and out Campus - within stipulated time frame and in accordance to the learning outcomes and to benchmark it again other local public and overseas well-known institutions/universities.
- Ensure quality programmes are organised for the student organisation and student community projects that are national and/or international levels.

Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in administrative/sports science/psychology/mass communication.
- Minimum 5 years working experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Pro-active and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and a good team player.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
- People management and leadership skills.
- Language skill. Able to communicate in English, Malay and Mandarin.
