Senior Executive, Performance Management Office

Responsibilities

A) Data Mining and Data Analysis

• To conduct data mining for weekly management reporting in terms of new student enrolment numbers by year, by intake and any other ad-hoc / requested data required for informed decision making purposes;

• Acts as a resource with regard to data collection, analysis, reporting and team facilitation in relation to improving student enrolment numbers;

• To work closely with internal stakeholders of Student Enrolment Centre (SEC) and UCSI Group as well as any external stakeholders in driving data collection and data analysis tasks necessary to support the team and Management for informed decision making; 

• To be able to present the data summary in a visual and easy to understand manner (eg Presentation Slides)

B) Marketing Intelligence

• To conduct marketing intelligence and data gathering of information required on partners and competitors’ offerings including programmes and bursary; 

• To assist by developing proposals, with the Heads of teams and executing the proposals with approvals received

C) Performance Management

• To support the teams by identifying, proposing and addressing training needs required for the team based on performance measure; 

• To assist in monitoring and managing the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of local and international marketing, and all SEC teams complementing and working alongside the Heads of Local and International Marketing with performance metrics.

D) Supporting role for Administrative Activities by SEC Teams

• To engage and support in any pre-planned marketing recruitment activities and events including ad-hoc requests

• To perform any other duties assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time or when necessary 

Requirements

• Degree in any field, preferably in data science or data analytics background;
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in any industry or any fresh graduate with data science / data analytics background with willingness to learn can be considered;
• Demonstrate excellent data mining, data analytics and mathematical forecasting skills;
• Demonstrate strong Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced Level)
• Demonstrate effective communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills in English Language;
• Experience in student recruitment field in education industry can be an added advantage but not necessary;
• Pro-active and self-motivated, with ability to work independently as well as to participate as an active, good team player;
• Good interpersonal skills in working across teams and various levels of stakeholders;
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines including working on weekends for weekly reporting purposes; and
• Any technical skills in programming language and database queries can be an added advantage.
