Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver lectures and lecture-demonstrations (average 6 credit hours per semester).
  • Prepare and deliver lectures and lecture-demonstrations (average  2 credit hours per semester).
  • Responsible for accompanying students doing clinical practicum in psychiatry nursing at Hospital Bahagia (each semester)
  • Plan and organise learning opportunities/ activities for student to achieve the learning objectives.
  • Prepare and mark students’ assessments (theory and practice) including supplementary papers.
  • Mentor 15 – 20 students as assigned.
  • Teach, guide and assess students in the clinical areas . 
  • Inculcate positive attitudes in students through role modelling. 
  • Be involved in major public/educational exhibitions, open days and road shows.
  • Be involved in student recruitment.


Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor degree or currently pursuing Master will have an added advantage.
  • completed post-basic.
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
