Responsibilities

Hiring is on a part-time basis
Payment: by session/programme basis

Other fitness classes such as Zumba, Kickboxing, Body Pump, etc. will be considered as well

  • Design workout routines to fit predetermined lengths of time and lead these routines for groups of varying sizes.
  • Continuously create new routines, incorporating different exercises, music, and movements to keep classes fresh and interesting.
  • Always monitor the safety of all members of the class. 
  • Always keep their exercise rooms neat and organized.
  • Monitor equipment for signs of damage.
  • Provide insight and advice on fitness to clients.

Yoga Instructor

  • Monitor fitness levels and requirements of all participants and design classes to suit individual needs.
  • Perform and demonstrate all yoga exercises to participants and ensure compliance with safety and health standard.
  • Design safe and comprehensive yoga programs for various participants from diverse groups.
  • Coordinate with participants and counsel on lifestyle and diet issues to ensure a healthy body and mind.
  • Monitor participant performance and recommend different forms of yoga if required.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and assist in answering all participant queries.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or bachelor's degrees in Exercise Science, kinesiology, physical education, or a related fitness field.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a relevant field. 
  • Leadership skills – must be able to lead groups of people and provide constant instructions.
  • Communication skills –must be able to clearly explain the movements they are performing, count out loud, and keep groups motivated during classes.
  • Customer service – develop and maintain relationships with clients and show them a supportive and positive attitude.
  • Physical fitness – perform exercise routines for others to use as a guide and serve as a fitness role model.
