Finance is the systematic and comprehensive financial technique pertaining to business and investment. Finance also refers to the process of summarising, analysing and reporting company performance. From the financial statements that summarise a large company's operations, financial position and cash flows over a particular period come a concise summary of the company’s financial performance. This programme aims to provide students with a holistic and wholesome learning approach towards finance with the aim of providing a broad-based education, in the areas of financial and investment context use for decision-making in a variety of business contexts. Students learn the relevant academic principles of finance, skills and knowledge through innovative teaching and learning methodologies. Basically, students will be equipped with communication and analytical skills which will be applied to their work once they graduate.
Assessments
The assessment includes a combination of examinations, projects and assignments. Students will acquire up-to-date finance technical skills that are relevant and competitive. This reflects the complex and challenging nature of finance and business realms.
