Master of Art and Design is a practice-based programme that requires students to provide solutions through innovative design thinking process. Disciplines covered are wide-ranging from multimedia, fine art, animation, graphic, and fashion, amongst others as stipulated under the scope of the creative industry.
Prospective students are required to look into current design issues that are relevant to the national initiatives and global trends in art and design. The programme focuses on the frontier towards the academic enquiries within the scope of the disciplinary areas of art & design in creating greater interchange or inter-disciplinary of ideas and knowledge exchange between art, design, science and humanities.

- A Recognised Bachelor's Degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75;
or - A Recognised Bachelor's Degree in Art and Design or a relevant field or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 with three years of working experience in an Art and Design field;
or - Equivalent qualification and/or experience which is recognised by the Senate / institution.

- Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) minimum score 160
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) minimum score 180

- Applicants with degrees and with proof of English Language as the medium of instruction are exempted from the above requirements upon faculty approval.
