Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements

  1. A bachelor’s degree in the field of Science Diplomacy or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
  2. A bachelor’s degree in the field of Science Diplomacy or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted but subjected to rigorous internal assessment.
  3. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (ii)

English Language Requirements

As the medium of instruction for all UCSI University programmes is the English language, applicants must meet one of the following requirements for admission:

  • For international students, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic score of 6.0 or its equivalent is needed. If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the need of the programme. This is normally conducted through an assessment process.
