Responsibilities
  1. Marketing Management
    1. To execute national marketing and enrolment strategies and plans.
    2. To organise and participate in national marketing and enrolment activities initiated by agents, embassies or government ministries.
    3. To generate international leads through adequate and regular marketing activities.
    4. To implement school marketing plans and engage in school marketing activities.
    5. To identify and explore collaboration projects.
  2. Sales Management
    1. To achieve both direct and country enrolment targets as assigned.
    2. To provide effective course counselling to national students from all enquiry sources leading to enrolment.
    3. To follow up on all leads based on the stipulated turnaround timeline towards enrolment.
    4. To establish targeted number of collaboration projects.
    5. To master the product knowledge offered by UCSI College.
    6. To provide career pathway advice, promote UCSI College courses and execute proper admission process together with the sales team members.
    7. To use various “approach” and “negotiation” tools/ skills to close sales.
    8. To participate in national telemarketing and counselling should there be any shortage of staff.
  3. Agent Management
    1. To identify, evaluate and appoint agents who can contribute to national enrolment.
    2. To manage agents based on key account management approaches.
    3. To provide prompt support and response to agents based on stipulated turnaround time including commission processing, response to enquiries and other matters.
    4. To assist agents in national student enquiries and registrations.
    5. To continuously engage with agents in organising marketing and enrolment activities.
  4. Services and Administrative
    1. To conduct market survey and prepare market analysis quarterly.
    2. To maintain process and operational efficiency of the department
    3. To ensure all the marketing proposals and reports are completed and submitted on a timely manner.
    4. To ensure sufficient resources to cope with the internal and external activities.
    5. To work with Visa Processing Unit to reduce the visa rejection cases due to incomplete documents.

  5. Development
    1. To assist in the development projects and programmes of activities undertaken by the Sales & Marketing such as:
      • The implementation of customer care survey / feedback.
      • Any other projects that may arise from time to time
  6. Support and working discipline
    1. Support any ad hoc or pre-planned sales & marketing recruitment activities and the overall department operation whenever necessary, be it for national or national enrolment.
    2. To carry out such other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by the person acting on behalf of UCSI College management.
    3. Be punctual on official working time and report submission
    4. To maintain excellence staff discipline and encourage excellence health condition in workplace.
    5. Able to work independently in meeting deadlines.
    6. Guide and support new colleagues whenever necessary.
    7. Search and identified new talents among the team members.
    8. Forming a mutually beneficial relationship in a climate of trust and respect with our stakeholders.
    9. Maintaining communication with organizations and providing prompt answers to requests in order to determine how to convey concise, clear, and timely selective information.
    10. Maintain knowledge of current company policies, procedures and sales programmes.
  7. Development & Enhancement
    1. To propose any new sales and marketing tactics from time to time.
    2. To surpass the expectations of the customers and prospects
    3. Working closely with corporate partners in developing new ideas and call on appropriate personnel to provide the opportunity of the PR and media collaboration if necessary.


Requirements
  • Degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years working marketing experience
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Pro-active and self motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and a good team player.
  • Interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel by him/herself
