System And Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation of the Computer Services department.
• Review system, security and activity logs.
• Document network/server.
• Install, upgrade, configure and maintain Linux and Wintel Servers (i.e. Active Directory, Exchange, DHCP, MS SQL, File Server, IIS 6.0, IIS 7.0 and Anti-Virus).
• Respond to IT support requests using support ticketing system.
• System and network (LAN and WAN) performance monitoring and capacity planning.
• Manage the firewalls, switches, routers, access points and load balancer.
• Lead and give direction to the Computer Services Department Executive and IT Technical Support Personnel which include planning and executing ideas.
• Provide technical support for company’s equipment by installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, LAN and Wireless Network.
• Oversee system, servers, wireless, security and network for University such branches of University, all Subsidiaries Company and customers.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• Candidates with 4 years of working experience in the related field are preferred.
• Candidates must possess good working experience supporting Ms. Exchange Server, Active Directory Infrastructure in a large organization.
• Candidates with 3 years of experience in networking with hands-on experience on Cisco Routers, switching, network security, Wireless LAN, Load Balancer are preferred.
• Candidates with MCSA, MCSE, CCNA or CCNP certifications will be an added advantage.
• Candidates must possess strong skill in Wintel Server, VMware ESX Server and Linux.
• Candidates must be able to travel and work during off-hours, if requested.
