Dr. Wasim Ahmad (PhD, Postdoc) is an Assistant Professor of Management in UCSI Graduate Business School at UCSI University, Malaysia (Top 284 in the world). Prior to his academic career, he was a senior administrative officer in the Federal and Provincial governments of Pakistan for 8 years.

Dr. Wasim Ahmad received his Postdoctoral fellowship in Theoretical Economics and Management from the Shenzhen University, China, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Management from the Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, MSc from the PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Pakistan, Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan and Bachelor of Education from the PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

Dr. Wasim has several publications in prestigious international journals and conferences. His research interests include digital/electronic commerce, consumer behavior, eWOM, e-service quality, Corporate social responsibility, green marketing, Meta verse and social media. He has published more than 25 papers in international refereed journals indexed to the Web of Science (SSCI/SCI/SCIE) by Clarivate Analytics. His current Google Scholar Citation H-index is 9; Scopus H-index = 7, dated July 15, 2022, with over 550 citations. Wasim’s research mainly appeared in Computers in Human Behavior (Elsevier, SSCI), Industrial Management & Data Systems (Emerald, SSCI), Journal of Cleaner Production (Elsevier, SCIE), Environmental Technology & Innovation (Elsevier, SCIE), and Journal of International Development (Elsevier, SSCI).

Dr Wasim serves as a reviewer for several leading journals, such as the Industrial Management and Data System (Emerald, SSCI), Journal of International Development (Wiley, SSCI) and Electronic Commerce Research (Springer, SSCI). Wasim has received various national awards during his services with the government of Pakistan and international awards during his PhD and postdoc from China. Best Employee of the year 2008 from Ministry of Environment, Islamabad, Pakistan, Best Team Leadership award from Ministry of Environment, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2010, Best supervisor award from Ministry of Environment, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2011, Best Teacher award from Ministry of overseas Pakistani and human resource development, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2013, Full bright PhD Scholarship from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Fuzhou, P.R China (2014-2018), 1st international Post-Doctoral Fellowship at college of management, Shenzhen University (2018-2020), 1st position in inter colleges Badminton tournament SZU (2020), Excellence award from Population Welfare Department, Government of Punjab in 2021.
