Overview
The Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) is tailor made to address the evolving and challenging demands of the construction industry. You will develop a broad range of quantity surveying and management skills and knowledge.

Academic Requirements
Foundation in Arts/ Science/ Equivalent
Minimum CGPA 2.5
STPM
(Arts/Science stream)
- Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.0 (or equivalent)
- Minimum Grade C for 3 subjects
A-Level
Minimum grade ‘D’ for 3 subjects including Mathematics
UEC
(Commerce/Science stream)
5 Credits (‘B’ grade) inclusive of Maths
National Matriculation
Minimum average of 60% in 6 subjects inclusive of: ** Additional Requirement
SAM
Minimum average of 70% in 5 subjects including Mathematics
CPU
Minimum average of 65% in 6 subjects including Mathematics
International Baccalaureate
Minimum 26/42 points from 6 subjects
(Minimum score of 4/7 in Mathematics)
Local Matriculation
Minimum CGPA 2.5
Diploma/ Advance Diploma/ Degree/ equivalent
Minimum CGPA 2.67 or 60% overall marks from accredited Diploma in Quantity Surveying
AND
- Minimum credit Mathematics in SPM or grade ‘C’ in O-Level Subject to School discretion and credit transfer after reviewing transcript, syllabus description and portfolio
- Maximum 30% credit transfer
Monash University Foundation year (MUFY)
Minimum average of 55% inclusive of Mathematics
Other qualification deemed equivalent to STPM/A-Level by MQA
Students will be considered on a case by case basis.

Discretion is given to the Head of School to deal with applicants who have results borderline to the Academic Requirements.

Band 3.5- International applicants who do not meet the respective academic programme’s English Language Requirement will need to improve their proficiency by enrolling into the English for Tertiary Education programme (R/KJP/00920-00920) which helps them prepare for attaining a required band score. Placement into the various levels of the English for Tertiary Education programme depends on the English Language qualification students have at the point of admission and / or the outcome of the English Placement Test.
- The applicants who have met the respective academic programme’s English Language Requirement may be advised by Faculty to improve their proficiency by undertaking the additional English proficiency courses.
