Distinguished Professor Ts Dr Ooi Keng Boon | Dean of UCSI’s Graduate Business SchoolDistinguished Professor Ts Dr Ooi Keng Boon has earned the distinction of being named the World's Most Productive Author in the Total Quality Management (TQM) - Human Resource Management (HRM) domain.
He is ranked #1 Top in the world and has been recognised in an article published by "The TQM Journal" (Emerald, Scopus) titled "Bridging the gap between TQM and HRM: mapping knowledge and identifying areas for future research," authored by Flamini, G., Pareschi, L., & Martinez, M. (2023).
Based on a bibliometric analysis of 132 articles published in the TQM-HRM field from 1991 to 2021, using the Scopus database, the ranking identified him as the top author worldwide. With 14 publications in this area, he has amassed a staggering 1,501 citations. His research has had a significant impact on the ongoing discussion around the theoretical development linking performance appraisal and Total Quality Management performance.
