The ranking was based on the bibliometric analysis of 3770 articles published in this field in the Scopus database between 1996 and 2020 as stated in the International Conference on Information Management and Technology (ICIMTech) based on an article by Purnomo, A. et al., (2021) Vol. 1, pp. 813-818, IEEE.

In recognition of his outstanding academic leadership achievements, Senior Professor Ooi has received the Highly Commended Award in the Research/Academic category from his alma mater, the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Australia at the Alumnus of the Year Awards Ceremony in 2016. He was also honoured with Malaysia’s Distinguished Researcher Award in 2019 by the Private Education Co-operative of Malaysia (with support from the Ministry of Education Malaysia and Emerald Publishing Limited (UK)).
Additionally, he was Malaysia’s Research Star Award (MRSA) recipient in 2018 and was recognised as one of Malaysia’s most promising and influential researchers presented by both Malaysia’s Ministry of Education and Clarivate Analytics (UK).

Assistant Professor Dr Tan Chung Keat |  Faculty of Medicine and Health SciencesCongratulations to Assistant Professor Dr Tan Chung Keat from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for successfully publishing an impactful article in the Scientific Reports.
The research article entitled “Effect of tiger milk mushroom (Lignosus rhinoserus) supplementation on respiratory health, immunity and antioxidant status: an open-label prospective study” reported that supplementation of tiger milk mushroom (TMM) significantly (p<0.05) suppressed the level of interleukin 1β, interleukin 8, malondialdehyde, and respiratory symptoms.
This research was conducted in collaboration with Nexus Wise Sdn. Bhd., Selangor, Malaysia.

Ahamed Khan were recently honoured with Senior Membership by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE).
According to Dr Khan, IEEE Senior Membership is an honour bestowed only to those who have made significant contributions to the profession. This award also reflects professional maturity and experience.
