Congratulations to Kok Wei Jun (Sean) for being one of the four chosen mentees to perform in Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac) Let’s Rock 3 Concert.

Let’s Rock 3, part of the Revival Music Series by lan Chow, is a rock concert consisting of headliners Fuad of Kyoto Protocol and AIM nominee Bihzhu, four vocal mentees, a four-piece rock band, The klpac Symphonic Band and YCA chorus. The 4-day concert showcased hit rock songs from the 80s to the New Millennium.

WON GOLD PRIZE AT THE MALAYSIA DISTRICT PRELIMINARY MUSIC COMPETITION OF THE 10TH HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL YOUTH PERFORMANCE ARTS FESTIVAL (PIANO AGE GROUP – OPEN CLASS CATEGORY)

Congratulations to Kua Siang Joe for winning the Gold Prize at the Malaysia District Preliminary Music Competition of the 10th Hong Kong International Youth Performance Arts Festival (Piano Age Group – Open Class category).

The Hong Kong Youth Performance Arts and Development Association, established in 2013, promotes Hong Kong youth performing arts and international exchange opportunities through high-level music and art competitions. In 2020, the association joined the Alink-Argerich Foundation as an international music competition, which provides information about major international piano competitions worldwide.

PRINCIPAL CELLIST AT THE EVENT “SIDE BY SIDE WITH THAI PHIL” WITH THAILAND PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

Congratulations to Isaac Chan Hao Jian for being the principal cellist at the event “Side by Side with Thai Phil” with Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra.

For the first time ever the Thailand Philharmonic is reaching out to invite members of its community to play side-by-side with the orchestra. Chief Conductor Alfonso Scarano and Guest Conductor Akkrawat Srinarong will lead over 200 musicians from all over Thailand and beyond, including special guests from the Thai Youth Orchestra, in a programme of fun and familiar music. A musical extravaganza never seen before!

WON GOLD MEDAL AT THE INTERNATIONAL BORNEO INNOVATION EXHIBITION AND COMPETITION 2022 (IBIEC 2022)
