RECIPIENT OF THE QRAM RESEARCH GRANT

Assistant Professor Dr Zhooriyati Binti Sehu Mohamad |  Head of Department, Psychology

Received the QRAM research grant of RM 2,500 for her students’ two-year study. The title of their research is “The Influence of Optimism and Psychological Resilience to Meaning in Life in Malaysian COVID-19 Front Liners”.

Congratulations to Mohd Farizi Bin Jamaluddin, Lecturer, Department of Mass Communication, UCSI University and four others from UiTM for winning Silver Award and People's Choice Award in the Virtual Reality (VR) category at the Innovation in Teaching & Learning Competition (InTeLeC2020).

Their entry was titled: "VR02 - Innovation on Malay Independence War Graveyard VR Application An Alternative for Teaching & Learning".

THEIR PROJECT RECEIVES A GRANT OF RM250,000 BY THE MALAYSIA RESEARCH UNIVERSITY NETWORK (MRUN)

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR DR LIONEL IN LIAN AUN and ASSISTANT PROFESSOR DR OH SIEW PEI

Congratulations to Associate Professor Dr Lionel In Lian Aun (Faculty Of Applied Sciences) and Assistant Professor Dr Oh Siew Pei  (Faculty of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts) for receiving a grant of RM250,000 By the Malaysia Research University Network (MRUN) through the Young Researchers Grant Scheme (MY-RGS). Their project was titled ‘A dual-pronged approach to increase production of farmed tilapia using lactococcal-based vaccination and enzybiotic’. A total of 6 research projects were selected from a grand total of 238 applications amounting to RM1.5million.
