Biography

Arif specializes in wind instrument performance and plays flute and saxophone. He also performs on a range of ethnic and bamboo flutes in his collection. Arif was horn section lead for Konsert High Note, Istana Budaya (2016) and has performed alongside noted artists and musicians in Kuala Lumpur; with Siti Nurhaliza and in London with Osibisa. He has performed at venues and events such as the Kashmir Club, the Singapore Expo, the Johor Bahru Arts Festival, Sunrise Jazz Festival, the One Earth Eco Music Festival in Langkawi and been a performing member of the South London Jazz Orchestra, RTM Orchestra and Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. Arif is a regular in the Kuala Lumpur music scene and can be seen performing at most major venues in the city. Arif is also a qualified civil and syariah legal practitioner and manages a law firm in KL.
